My background and my goals

I'm going to start off by introduing myself, my name is Nnamdi Opara. I was born on October 15th 1994 (  I know I'm quite young) in the city of Winchester but currently live in Medford, Massachusetts. I am the youngest out of 7 kids, unfortunately I am the only boy in the house and its not very easy at all. I recently graduated from Covenant Christian Academy in West Peabody and I'm now furthering my higher education at Bunkerhill Community College majoring in Computer Science.
Now i know many of you that are reading this are wondering what kind of name I have. Well, I'm very used to that so don't worry about being rude. My name is 100%  Nigerian and so am I. You may of heard of this country due to its massive oil production or the amount of bomb blasts that have happened in the past year due to Islam war called 'Boko Haram' or maybe even the way they got spanked by the US during the Olympic, either way I am proud to say I'm a Nigerian. My parents grew up there and both got scholarships to the USA to study and created this little guy creating this blog.

What are my Interests?

I'm very interested in all sports except golf and baseball because I dont consider those sports but I am also interested in musical instruments.  I play the piano/keyboard and plan to learn the guitar sometime in my life. Although, I used to hate this topic but I recenetly began to pick up some sort of care for it and that is politics because I'm starting to realize how its effecting the way I live... gas prices *cough *cough.

What are my goals?

My future goals and  ambitions  are to get my masters in  Computer Science  and   to  eventually use my skills to  become the next Bill gates or Steve Jobs or maybe even greater.

  1. Nnamdi,

Great first post. You have some excellent writing and design skills. Remember to be consistent with your format. I don't that you would need subheadings (What are my goals) if you don't use them throughout.

Interesting story, too. Seems like you have a lot of talent. We have a few musicians in the class. Maybe you guys can eventually get together. I play guitar as well and have been playing for about 6 years.

Keep up the good work and you will do just fine in this class. I look forward to reading your posts and seeing your perspective unfold.
